Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Forest City store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are a popular choice for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to receive and to give. Purchase them at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Our gift cards can be used to shop online or redeemed in-store with no additional fees.

Does The Home Depot Forest City offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" email or text message to tell us in the app that you're on the way.
3. When you arrive, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space. It's typically located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you're here.
5. Wait for us to bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
